Fortunately our theater has beautifull surround sound... I was thrilled to learn there would be performances in the spring, so I emptied my savings account, spent it all on à plane ticket, hotel for 9 nights and 4 tickets And came to NY for this wonderfull week in may. It was everything i dreamed of (except for Jonas Kaufmann being indisposed And replaced) And although my savings account is still desperately low (hope nothing bad happens in à near future). I don't regret my "spending spree" for one moment. Great memories And reminiscenties for years to come.<br />SimonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10018924.post-44420971746668273102012-04-22T12:34:04.069-05:002012-04-22T12:34:04.069-05:00I attended the first two Ring operas in the HD mov...I attended the first two Ring operas in the HD movie presentations. Perhaps the most accurate thing said about Wagner performances of late. Although, I would argue that there are still some fine performers out there - it is simply that the large houses are not hiring them to perform the "main" Wagner roles. The Wagnerianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12938047173826128983noreply@blogger.com
